Welcome to Rocky Creek Point, a breezy, tropical paradise in the heart of sunny Englewood, FL, just minutes to Englewood Beach at Manasota Key. The sparkling tidal waters of Rocky Creek wrap around the house on 3 sides and mangroves hug the shoreline. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the water from the incredible 1,800 square feet of screened outdoor living space featuring a pool and 60 foot lanai. Sit amongst the swaying palm trees and watch the fish jump and boats drift by. Linger with your morning coffee while keeping an eye out for manatees. Western exposure for maximum sunshine at the pool and beautiful evening sunsets. You don't have to leave the house to feel like you're on vacation, but everything you want to do is nearby. Beaches, restaurants/bars, boat tours/rentals, fishing charters, water sports, shopping and much more! Ample off-street parking. Pleasing, comfortable property inside and out, freshly decorated. The holiday amenities you want are all here!

Although the property is located on a tidal creek that runs to the Gulf, we do not have a boat dock. Local marinas offer boat rentals by the day or week, with boats kept at their docks. There are also several boat launches in the area.

HOUSE RULES

No smoking.

Strict no pet policy due to allergies, including pets of day visitors.

Must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and present during the entire stay. No third-party rentals or subletting.  Adults cannot rent the property on behalf of underage guests, no exceptions. Minors under 18 can only stay with parent, legal guardian or a responsible adult and must never be left at the property unsupervised.

No house parties.

Check in: 4 pm EST / check out: 10 am EST. Times are firm due to cleaning schedule.

Feels like you’re on a private island

Our family of 5 had the most amazing week at Rocky Creek Point. The property is truly a relaxing oasis and beautiful escape from the busy lives we all lead. The home is immaculate and every detail taken care of to make the stay perfect. From the big things (comfortable beds/pillows, immaculate furniture and plenty of it, beach towels, etc) to the little things (so much storage space, plenty of hangers, spices and other kitchen essentials, etc), this house has everything you need. It’s a perfect blend of relaxing on the shell beach or by the pool, and also fun activities like kayaking from the dock (with kayaks we rented) and playing Kan Jam, pool volleyball and all the other games provided. We loved eating our meals on the lanai - the sounds of birds and boats strolling by is just so relaxing. Other than 2 dinners out and a 1/2 day fishing charter, we spent all of our time at the house. You feel like you are on your own private island. (We headed to Englewood beach one day but came back bc we all decided we liked our own private shell beach better). The family bonding time this property gave us with our 3 teenagers is something we’ll treasure forever. We all agreed we’d love to come back someday.

From the moment we drove up to the private driveway we instantly fell in love with the seashell gravel and palm tree landscaping. The house is comfortable, clean and decorated with a coastal vibe. Bedrooms, bathrooms and closets are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a convenient stay. Screened in pool area is furnished with plenty of relaxing seating areas to enjoy the peaceful intercoastal surroundings. Great place to unplug and get away! Looking forward to our next stay.

The home was beautiful and the views were spectacular. We were visiting family in the area and we all felt like we were at home. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! Jennifer and Mike couldn’t have made it easier for us to relax and just enjoy the time together. We were minutes away from great food establishments, and had many opportunities to enjoy nature. Manatees could be seen swimming through early in the morning while we had coffee, which was unforgettable. We particularly enjoyed Lemon Bay Park and Environmental Center where we saw so much cool wildlife, walking on well-maintained trails. Our favorite parts of the day, after shelling and fishing, was the wind-down when we would sit out on the lanai, grill great meals, and lounge by the pool- margaritas in hand. Such a great stay!

Home exceeded our expectations. The hosts thought of everything to make the stay feel like a home away from home. Home had everything you could ask for - pool toys, kitchen gadgets, beach gear, comfortable beds….
The location was also great! Englewood is a short drive from a lot of popular tourist destinations, but without the tourist crowds. The home is on a little peninsula, surrounded by water and feels very private. Definitely recommend renting kayaks, exploring Boca Grande via golf cart, searching for shark teeth at Venice Beach, Ringling Museum, Mote Aquarium. Spent a week there and didn’t want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay! Our host Jennifer was very gracious and went out of her way to make our family feel welcome. Our stay coincided with the Fourth of July Holiday and Jennifer kept us up to date on the local events happening around the house. We didn't have to leave the beautiful back yard to enjoy fireworks. Our stay also happened to coincide with a hurricane! Once again Jennifer and her team were on the ball making sure the house was in order and we were prepared to weather the storm. I can't say enough positive things about our host and the property. We will be repeat visitors when in town visiting our family.

Absolutely perfect. This house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Jennifer was great with communication and very responsive to any messages. Great location close to different beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. Each and every room is professionally decorated and looks perfect. Could not have asked for a better vacation house. Will definitely be booking here again next year.
